Tips To Prepare Yourself For Pregnancy

Do you want to become pregnant? Are you trying it for a while? There are some ways to help you achieve success. Below are some tips which are generally recommended to want to be mothers so that they can prepare their mind, body and soul for a new life.

1. Clean up your eating

Remove unhealthy food from your diet and replace them with healthy food choices. A simple example is, a gardener gives as much nourishment to the soil as possible before sowing valuable seeds. Healthier the plant, better the growth of the plant! Our bodies are just like the soil, a healthy body makes sure you get a better environment for pregnancy. Include hormone-free, organic,  GMO-free and whole foods in your diet.

2. Eat warm foods

  These include brown rice, lentil soup, and stir-fried veggies. It is believed a warm uterus is more suitable for fertility.

3. Practice yoga for your reproductive organs

  • Legs up the wall
  • Double pigeon
  • Reclining bound angle pose
  • Open-legged forward bend

4. Create space in your life

When your life is already full, you have no space for anything new. Often, void creates discomfort in people. That is why; most of us fill our lives with unnecessary stuff to avoid the discomfort caused by void. So, you have to let go of this discomfort and embrace the empty space that’ll be filled by a new life.

5. Trust the timing

It’s so irritating when you want something very badly but you have to wait for it. There are females who get pregnant when they want to while others have to make efforts for this. Just because you are ready for a baby doesn’t make every other thing ready. To get rid of this irritation, you need to trust the divine timings and God’s plan. 

6. Don’t stress

You need to understand that not every woman gets pregnant in their first try. If you don’t get pregnant in your decided time span, you start feeling stressed and emotionally drained. To prevent this, keep a bigger time span for trying. 

7. Exercise daily

You don’t have to wait for pregnancy to start exercising. The best time to start exercising is months before you conceive. Whether you are starting exercising for the first time or you are resuming it, do it before you conceive. 

8. Decompress and de-stress

Stress is your worst enemy. It increases levels of cortisol. This cortisol suppresses ovulation. Stress also makes your body tight. Manage your stress by:

  • Visualization
  • Massage
  • Nature walk
  • Sleep
  • Exercise
  • Journal
